Shaded area for picnic lunch

One teacher or chaperone rides free
in each boat. Minimum 15 paid passengers
per boat; maximum load 22 per boat.
4 boats available.
Children, $10 each; adults $16 each.
Approximately 2 hours on the water.
Before the tour, students will see how we
harvest the catch from hand-made traditional
slat traps,several kinds of nets, crab traps
and crawfish traps, and even the box
traps in which we capture live wild boars.
During the tour, we will explain the natural
features of the habitat, and talk about the culture
of those who have lived in this
difficult place, including native Americans,

Chinese, Cajuns, Croatians, and Vietnamese.
